Rosamund Boughton

My practice is heavily influenced and interlinked with two specific sites along the ancient Pilgrims Way; No Mans Orchard and Bigbury Iron Age fort. Predominantly investigating the plants people were using on their journeys, the people who lived on the land and the local natural landscapes they walked, I have recently created a ritualistic burning of wax sculptures at the fort, exhibited clay pots containing medicinal plants at the Cathedral and hosted a supper where my audience tasted homemade herbal teas and foods containing fragrant, textural medicinal plants such as lavender biscuits.
